Road Kill

Superbowl Preview coming out tomorrow. Canucks get the win tonight. Let's roll...

Canucks Outshoot Coyotes

The Canucks win their 2nd road game in a row beating the Phoenix Coyotes 7-4 today. They jumped out to the early lead on goals by Daniel Sedin and Josh Green in the first and never looked back. The Canucks got sloppy later in the game but managed to outlast the Coyotes. Curtis Joseph was pulled in the 2nd after letting in 5. Alex Auld was once again the difference tonight making 42 saves overall including 21 in the 2nd period. It is troublesome that the Canucks are putting their faith in a young Alex Auld to win them games, but that's exactly what good teams and good goalies do, they take chances and hope their goalie bails them out. Naslund was back after missing one game. Reports indicated that Richard Park may be back in a week or so. Big talk on the local radio shows is making a deal to bring in some relief on the backend with the possible season ending injury to Ed Jovanovski. Couple of huge divisional games coming up vs Calgary and Edmonton coming up. Once again, it will be a good test to see where this team stacks up with when going head-to-head against the best.
