Leafs Suck

The only other thing that Canucks fans are more passionate about other than Canucks hockey is Hating the Leafs. So as the Toronto Maple Leafs roll into town to face the Canucks tomorrow at GM Place I thought it would be fitting to dig around and find the Net's best "Hate the Leafs" websites. The Anti Toronto Maple Leaf Fan Club has been Hating the Leafs for almost 5 years now online. The creator of this page, simply known as Leafs Suck, dedicates himself to Hate the Leafs almost as much as he loves the Senators. Finally, this devout Leaf Hater simply wants you to root for any team other than the Leafs.

Now to the game at hand. The Leafs are entering the contest after a 3-2 win over the Oilers on Sun. Expect Ed Belfour to start tomorrow. Injured is Eric Lindros who was on pace to be a comeback player candidate before he went down in mid-December and reports indicate that McCabe will sit this one out as well. The Leafs aren't the highest goal scorers in the league, Darcy Tucker and Bryan McCabe lead the team in Goals and Points. As for the Canucks, reports indicate Ed Jovanovski should be ready to play. Auld will probably start after the extra 2 days rest. With the Canucks speed and McCabe out, I think the Canucks should win this one 3-2.

Gangsta Wannabe in Trouble Again

Just a couple of days after I and every other Sports personality blast him, Marcus Vick goes over the top again. This time flashing his 9 millimeter to 3 kids outside of a restaurant. Who the hell does this kid think he is?? Clearly, this kid just doesn't get it. You would think that with a famous brother, and god-given talent, he would be smart enough to milk that into both a successful pro career on and off the field like Eli Manning has been able to do. I guarantee that in 10 years or less we will be hearing that Marcus Vick has been found in the alley of skid row tits up overdosed on crack. Either that or he will be the feature of yet another flashback show "Beyond the Glory", "Where are they now??", showing an overweight obnoxious but still cocky Vick talk about "Me Against the World".
